American Legion Riders
Chapter 312
Who are the American Legion Riders?

The American Legion Riders are comprised of active members of the American Legion Family including legionnaires, members of the American Legion Auxiliary and members of the Sons of the American Legion.  Legion Riders participate in local parades, fundreaising rides, flaglines to welcome home out Heroes and Memorial Services to lay them to rest.  We are involved with the ALR Chapters throughout the region and statewide, often participating in Chapter Unity Rides and in support of all of the programs of the American Legion.

Legion Riders are the driving force for welfare of our Veterans and their families.  To that end, our members participate in the Missouri's in-state Annual Legacy Ride which supports the American Legion Veteran and Childrens Foundation, (Foudation of Hope).  A program which provides temporary financial assistance grants to feed and house children of military personnel and veterans facing urgent, unexpected hardships.  These grants prevent evicion, keep the power on and fulfill basic needs to hold a family together through difficult times.

Yes, we're bikers.  Yes, we wear leathers and some of us are tattooed.  But we're also proud Americans (many Veterans) who work hard, and everyday, provide service to the Commjunity, State and Nation.

For the Cause, Not the Applause!
