About American Legion Baseball:

The American Legion began its baseball program in 1925 and has had millions of players to date. Countless numbers of players have sharpened their skills playing Legion baseball and have gone on to play at college and professional levels.  About 1/2 of MLB Hall of Fame players played Legion baseball.  The American Legion takes pride in developing players by providing top level training and coaching at a very low cost.  The American Legion invests in baseball, it was a 'select' organization long before baseball became a business to others.

Today, Legion baseball extends into all 50 states and Canada. We have tournaments and playoffs at the district, sectional, state, and regional levels. Our American Legion World Series is televised and live streamed by ESPN 3.  We have district level college showcases and other exposure events such as all-star games which give players added visibility to recruiters. We continually work with local high schools to ensure the alignment of our program to their needs.

The St Charles Post 312 baseball program is always looking for players that want to get to that next level and coaches that have competitive, college or professional experience. We offer fall baseball, off-season winter indoor training, plenty of competitive games, a free college showcase, playoffs, and the opportunity to make one of our prestigious all-star teams. We are expanding to sponsor a 7/8 grade team and to establish a freshman team. We hold tryouts every year, usually in late July but we are open to looking at players throughout the year.

Please call or text Russ at (314) 705-9147 if you are a prospective player, or would like to learn more about joining us as a coach, advisor, or if you are interested in our expansion plans.
